Official release date: October 22nd and guess what just arrived on my desk at 10.32 yup a spanking new copy of Windows 7 professional. God bless Dixons.co.uk Now all I have to do is buy a new system for ot to go on

Well, I've installed Dx11 with the beta platform update, now all I need to do is uninstall everything and I'll be set!  Seriously, I may have to pick up a copy before the price rockets after release. It may come in handy further down the line.

Now putting home premium on my laptop. So there is one good outcome from the postal strike  All installed and it took 20 mins from start to finish

Got Mine (Professional) Just need to get a new HDD as that way will not ahve to worry about back ups
Just unplug the old one - install W7 onto the new , plug the old one back in and then copy all of the the files over
