Ooh dear, try "Madam you are ugly, but in the morning I shall be sober". Far more concise, and also notably more accurate. |

"I fear that all we have done is awaken a sleeping tiger and fill him with a terrible resolve." Admiral Yamamoto after the attack on Pearl Harbour- no sh!t, Sherlock. "The object of war is not to die for your country, but to make the other bastard die for his." General George S Patton. I've just found this one from Patton- "If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking." Now, that's a good one. And, my all time favourite from the acting commander of the 101st Airborne at Bastogne in the Battle of the Bulge- Brigadier General Anthony McCauliffe. When, surrounded, short of ammunition, food, winter clothing and other essentials, he was asked by the German commander to surrender. He replied "Nuts!" |

Having just enjoyed watching all three Back To The Future films... "If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious [LIFTED]." "It works! It works! I finally invent something that works! " "Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here!" "I hate manure!" I can cut and paste all day from IMDB, but I won't. ![]() |

Here's one from an American guy who was trying to break into directing movies. He blogged for a bit about life, family and work. Then he had some family issues and his blogging dried up. I saved this one, though. It's quite pertinent for me in the place I'm in right now, I think.
