On this day in 1986, Queen played Knebworth Park.
It was the last show with Freddie Mercury.
125,000 people were in the crowd.

I was at the Wembley concert a couple of days before that. Queen were truly electrifying on stage. Freddie Mercury was a real entertainer. I've never been to a better concert.

Still, with "support" bands like INXS and Status Quo, plus The Alarm, it was an incredible day. In fact Quo couldn't play their first number, 75,000 people shouting "turn it up", because the volume was too low (The Alarm were barely audible, INXS a little louder, Quo should have been a bit louder again, then all the way to 11 for Queen). In the end, the technicians relented and gave Quo full volume.

I believe somebody in the crowd a Knebworth was stabbed?
