Post subject:  I've released a game!
Hi all,

As the title says, I've released a game! It's only available on Android at the moment, (the costs to become an Apple Developer are too high for me at the moment, but that may change) and the game is called Retro Bee, so please visit the Play Store, (if you have an Android phone) and download it.

Please don't forget to tell everyone you know, on Twitter, Bookface, AA meetings, etc, and if you could give it a five star rating that would also be good.

That's no coincidence... Most of the early downloaders are family. :D

Only another 449,999 copies to sell, and then I can retire! That's what the wife said, and who am I to argue? :lol:

Although technically, I think she means leave work and make games full time, but still...

By the way, the sequel is now under development.

I thinking of a play on Die hard for the title - "Retro Bee 2 - Bee Harder" or just plain silly with "Retro Bee 2 - Electric Boogaloo" :P

Thanks, Bratty, and thanks for the feedback, everyone. If you can think of any way to improve the game please feel free to post here, and if it's frustrating, don't give up... practice makes... less rubbish! :D

Edit to add: By the way, the highest score I have seen was one of the electricians at work, who got 38. He did play it for 45 minutes straight though!

Just put in a review for the free version and bought the paid version.

I haven't played it yet but can I ask:

On the store screenshot it says "tap to jump" so is the bee jumping rather than flying?
What are those sex toy-looking probes attacking the bee?
