As it said in the article I just posted what about all the Brexit campaigners that lied? That's OK then?

It's too early to tell how much lying the remain camp did for the most part - brexit hasn't happened yet. I can say with absolute certainty that the prospect of Brexit has already have a significant and negative impact on the place I work thanks to the drop in the value of the pound. There have already been redundancies as a result. While I don't agree with the way the Remain campaign was run so far the predictions of doom haven't been proved wrong no matter how hard the merry Brexiteers stick their fingers in their ears and pretend it's all fine.

are we sure. we are leaving the EU, i do hope for a hard and fast exit, but the longer the delays the better result at the next GE. all the remain camp are doing is focusing the opposition ...

As has been explained any number of times, the referendum was advisory, not legislatory. They don't have to comply with the result. They'd certainly be.. well, crazy to resign the government if they couldn't, when they have a ready made excuse that they have been forced into that position by the courts.

the referendum was voted by a margin of 6 to 1 to take place by parliament. the referendum stated very clearly 'leave' or 'remain'. the referendum is binding. there is now an appeal to the supreme court. depending on the decision a parliamentary vote may take place. which if so i believe the Govt. would win. because if they lose that vote then a early general election will take place and the election campaign will be based on the EU, to be or not too be, not policy. so i will place myself on hold to watch and wait as the events unfold ...

That is demonstrably false, the referendum was expressly set to be advisory, unlike say the AV referendum from a few years ago.

It would have to traverse the House of Lords as well, who won’t necessarily give it an easy time.
