I actually quite dislike cornflakes, they go soggy very quickly and if one flake has been burnt, it taints the whole box.
Added to that, I was once so ill that I was sick and the breakfast of cornflakes did nothing to make me think they were quite nice really.
In other news, I feel the same way about Cadburys creme eggs and Stella Artois.
Contrarily I am quite happy to drink Johnny Walker black label and all those kinds of thing.

The trick to cornflakes not going soggy quickly is very cold milk I find. If it's a room temperature they're toast ha!

How does anyone leave cornflakes so long as for them to go soggy? Haven't any for a while but used to scoff mine quite quickly and the last couple of flakes might be a bit soft. Then again, I tend to get diabetic patients to avoid cornflakes due to their high GI.

Each to their own. As with cornflakes so it is with Brexit :)

It's going well though this filibustering. I'm surprised CW didn't rise to the bait with the creme egg comment. As I recall, he was partial :)

MPs 'walk out' in protest at 'too gloomy' Brexit report

A number of Brexit-backing MPs "politely" walked out of a private meeting of the Commons Brexit Select Committee, it has been claimed.

A source said Labour chairman Hilary Benn had tried to "bounce" members into accepting a 155-page report into the government's Brexit White Paper.

Nicola Sturgeon's call for a second referendum on independence for Scotland had been formally backed by the Scottish Parliament.

It's the raving insecurity of it all that gets me. They won. They have the backing of the British people, or at least the biggest chunk of it that cares. Yet whenever anyone says or does anything that might threaten the façade of joy they hide behind, they throw a tantrum a spoiled four year old would look at and say 'Wind your neck in mate, it's not the end of the world'.

They're such precious, delicate little flowers. They keep telling us we can all survive in the wild world on our own without the EU, yet most of them don't seem able to get through a single day without running home to nursey.
