Burger King launch their Super Seven Incher with one of the most unsubtle ads of all time. Or is it just me?

Advertising these days, is to catch the subject audicence. In this case, people under the age of 25. What has this done? Exactly what I just said.

It does look exceedingly good though. Pity they dont actually look like that then they are cooked.

I asked about it once, the response I got was - "It's because we have to make so many of them so we can't always make them look good."

I was 'gob-smacked' ;)

Advertising clearly works.

FWIW, there's probably some ad exec in the US who probably can't quite believe he's gotten away with it. I expect there's usually a dozen piss-poor ideas rafted, but some moron in BK went with this one. I used to come up with crap like this in university and upon presentation to the tutors it always got a raised eyebrow and a middling mark.

Mind you, look at the American Apparel adverts. For all their puritanical views over the last few years, the US seems to do a brisk trade in risqué advertising.

Does anyone else think that the model doesn't look human, and looks more like one of those fake rubber dolls that are supposed to look human?

Ooooh. That's a low punch.

I have been driving for nearly 3 years, and have never hit anything. Not even the curb.

It's from the 60s/70s I think

Saying that you might be the exception, my housemate hit another car (apparently not her fault) and has had 2+ 'bumps' (as in obviously dented bodywork) on the replacement car.

She drives like a boy racer and doesn't wear a seatbelt mind so that might be it....
