I received an espresso machine, grinder and tamping set plus 2 sorts of coffee beans. That spread over about 7 or 8 presents. My wife received Cappuccino cups and saucers.

I delivered a food parcel to the grandparents earlier (the parents of the children's father). Coffee and cake later.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

I received alcohol, socks, alcohol, a chess set, alcohol, some other stuff and I'm fairly sure that I received some alcohol.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. I got the usual aftershave and chocolate but I did also treat myself yesterday to a Sony KD49XE9005 :D

New coat, a thick jumper, a nail grooming kit (swmbo keeps nicking my nail cutter!), new aftershave, a crappy Batman torso mug, some generic shower gel/shampoo/washbag thing, some lovely cufflinks, a scarf. And a Rubik's cube.

From my patients, two bottles of wine, one of champagne, and some boxes of fudge.

I got a nasty stomach bug. Thursday had me eating very little and retching a lot. So I kind of spent less time on the interwebs than I usually do, and watched a lot of rubbish on the telly.

Preasant-wise, my wife got me a pop-up green screen. We’ve yet to do anything with it (we had ideas, but illness meant I couldn’t). I may try a few tests over the weekend. Getting the thing back into it’s bag is challenging. There’s some kind of double twist/loop thing you have to do with it.

Merry Christmas one and all (and tiny Tim)

As a mate of mine who is Muslim says - you try telling his 6 yr old son that they are not celebrating Christmas - for most people is about unfettered gluttony, consumerism and the odd argument with family
