I mean I could understand people in the services using them, but that's about it. I had one years ago and just found it annoying, but that might have had more to do with it being an LG POS to start with. |

Really a design classic of its era. The obvious flaw for todays os's is lack of screen size, but back then it was a phone which ended a call when you shut the lid. Remember those horror stories about massive phone bills from not ending the call? |

I had one of those Matrix-ey phones where the 'flip' actually popped out when you put it to your head. Nokia 7110 I think? Gave very good service as I recall. |
