http://www.scotsman.com/lifestyle/revea ... -1-3534246 Lol at who commissioned the survey. 'A slice of cake tops the treat list to give to partners.' ![]() I've always liked the sound of rain. I'm really enjoying walking at the moment and I've gotten back into reading books since the Kindle came along. I crave good, lightweight TV too now (from panel shows to Arrow). I just wish films were generally better. |

I have gone off food that makes me "happy" as I usually just think of the fat and sugar content now, same with beer, I only drink socially now, and I don't socialise all that much. The everyday stuff that makes me happy are: Having done all the [LIFTED] that needs doing at work or at home. Sitting down to watch a TV box set. Jeff Stelling starting on Saturday. Doing exercise (weights, footy, biking). What has made me especially happy over the past few months include mountain biking, music festivals, sunbathing, bonus at work, losing weight. ![]() |

That's something I always wonder about - I don't know if I could hack being a parent. And increasingly, I feel like throwing my personal ethics to the wind because I'm surrounded by people who wouldn't know or understand the concept... I'd agonise over explaining or justifying that to a teenager after bringing them up 'right'. |

Not been a lot to make me happy lately - mostly seeing friends. 2hrs in the gym this morning was... uh, almost euphoric at the end. |

Simplest pleasures: sex and chocolate. General pleasures: Having done all the work (chores/errands) I need to do in the morning so I can spend the rest of the weekend relaxing; enjoying food (eg cheesecake) and watching a fave show on TV (eg classic Simpsons episode); that sensation in the air either just before a heavy rainfall or just after when it's all stopped; being able to have a break at work (I've now self-imposed this and I'm much happier for it). |

I'd say a nice conversation with someone who understands you (or generally doing something that exercises the brain) |

I love being a dive instructor, but you can't beat a solo dive when there is absolutely no one else to look out for but yourself. Having said that, the 10m club is quite pleasureable. ![]() |
