Your results

9 out of a possible 10

A thoroughly respectable score.

I will admit I have seen a few of those older films.

6/10

Well it wasn't asking which I thought was better but which was more critically acclaimed....

7/10

The quiz reckons Internal Affairs is better than The Departed

...and Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House is better than The Money Pit

...and The Thing from Another World is better than The Thing.

So, 10/10 for me then.

I like Internal Affairs - it's a close shout but I though The Departed was a better film. I've seen Mr. Blandings, but nothing in it comes close to Hanks' laugh when the bath falls through the floor. Oh, and seriously, The Thing from Another World is better than The Thing? Not a bloody hope in hell - yes, I've seen the original, more than once. "I don't know what the hell's in there, but it's weird and pissed off. Whatever it is" 8-)

Yip, those were the three that got me.

Same as Thomas Crown, the remake was pretty much Hollywood's interpretation of a poon movie. That said, I do prefer Brosnan as Thomas Crown, but I'd say it is a great film, but not better than the original.

I hot 8/10.
