Your results: LIBERAL DEMOCRAT

Your dream TV watching partner based on this quiz is Danny Alexander.

The YouGov polling found Lib Dem supporters' viewing habits centred on "surreal and kooky" shows – with 50% of the list comedies, by far the highest level. Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week and topped their chart. Science fiction is also a favourite

That didn't surprise me when I realised who Clegg reminded me of

I wouldn't vote for them if you paid me, but that's true of any of our current politicians

Couldn't complete, I only know about a third of the programmes, so I couldn't answer most of the questions.

Same here. I left them blank and when I clicked Submit I was labelled a Conservative.

I have to choose between Brass Eye and The Wire?

What evil person drafted this quiz?

Jesus Christ, and then Phoenix Nights versus Black Books, I mean is this even possible to complete this quiz?

Accurate though. Labour.

Nor do I. I ran through it again and changed three of my answers - I still got that ginger prick.

I had a couple of tough options like that. Though because I have a short attention span I cannot watch series like Downton Abbey so watch self contained shows, where everything you need to know is in the episode.

Your results: CONSERVATIVE

Your dream TV watching partner based on this quiz is Eric Pickles.

Conservative supporters, YouGov suggested, liked a "somewhat sepia-tinted vision of Britain's better days" with Downton Abbey, To The Manor Born and Foyle's War were among their favourites.
