I don't normally make any but this year I am

Finish getting house done up
Eat less, move more (swim and use the gym)
Cut back on sugar
Give up booze for the month of January
Try and give up smoking this year

I've only ever made one New Years Resolution - never make another New Years Resolution.

It was the best decision I ever made! ;)

Seems to be a very popular one this - there's been an hour long phone in on the radio this morning about 'dry January', lots of people phoning in saying they were doing it. Is it a sort of groupthink thing like Movember?

My opinion on New Year's resolutions is as follows : "No plan survives contact with the enemy".

So far so good for me but it was a killer when I worked in the bank!

I don't bother making resolutions, but like Caz I want to get a few things we've started round the house finished this year.

Aside from that, I would like 2014 to carry on the way 2013 did. I need to make up for the crap years between 2003 and 2012! :D

All mine have get out clauses so I have never failed yet.

I regularly give up smoking even though I have not smoked since I was 8.
In addition I gave up drinking with the exception of weddings funerals parties or whenever I felt like it.

Well last week I had 1 glass of wine to finish up what was left in the fridge but apart from that I'm staying off the booze.

I also went swimming and did yoga at the weekend so sticking to that part of the resolution.

Also ordered the new interior doors for the house and had a chippy round to quote on installing.

I don't make resolutions, however I tend to pick a goal, something I want to work towards during the year. This year it's the Wolf Run in September, I started training yesterday and am hoping it will be good fun! http://www.thewolfrun.com/
