Right, I'm looking for a new job. Well, same job different company. The only thing is, all the jobs are in London. I'm currently in Middlesbrough. I don't mind moving though. But, I've got a load of friends up here now. I'm involved in the roller derby team here. Now I don't know what to do.

With an automatic submission to the NSA and GCHQ, courtesy of their spying program, regardless of whether you want to move there or not. Good luck Foggy.

Thanks Sas and Fin, emails sent to both. Just had a technical interview. Was quite nervous about it as I haven't done one before... I think I pretty much aced it I didn't know the answer to one question and so made a guess and got "half a point". But other stuff from UI, async networking, CoreData, Debugging, Architecture, etc... got them all, lol! Sounds like it could be a good opportunity. The only down side is that it's in Glasgow. I'm not against moving but it would have to be a very good opportunity for me to move.

Well, it's really not London! I imagine rent is a lot cheaper so wages will go further, but having spent a few weeks there one winter I'm afraid I'm too soft for it!

Wages might be lower as well. Though once any jobs get more certain he could look online and see what the costs would be to work out if he is any better off. Good luck either way.

They serve doubles as standard in Glasgow. The take-aways do everything so you can order curry, chinese, pizza and burgers from the same place and all the shop assistants are in cages. Also the bars don't have windows just a front door.
Once asked a lady for directions at a petrol station in Glasgow. Instead of telling me she said I'll drive there you follow.

They actually do 35ml measures rather than 25ml. Doubles are standard in hotels everywhere
