Post subject:  Making Tea

As an Englishman, I enjoy tea, and how the tea is made is very important. If you know a woman who is incapable of such a simple task, or maybe someone in your staff has problems understanding the rudiments, you may wish to show them this informative and educational video on how tea is made.

It is sponsored by the Empire Tea Bureau, so it’s jolly important and packed with information that even harridans with urns can absorb and recall.

Thankfully, there is an ISO for tea making:

I bring this up because it seems that Costa is now incapable of putting a teabag in a tea pot and pouring boiling water in to it (don’t quote H&S at me - making coffee appears to involve industrial revolution grade steam machines). You get a tea pot full of water, and a tea bag. By the time you’ve sat down, cleared the wreckage from the table, the water is certainly not boiling any more. An email has been despatched. I am awaiting their reply.

And, for some NSFW tea based antics:

It's a troublesome task trying to find a decent cuppa when out and about, so I'll generally drink coffee, whereas at home tea is the only drink I'll have.

I just hate it when places use draw string tea bags. They seem to take about five times as long to flavour the water than normal tea bags.

Nope. Seems that teabag IN the pot is not what they do now. The number of times I’ve forgotten and had to mash the teabag with a spoon to get it to work....

One of the worst is Pret - which puts hot water, milk AND the teabag in all in one go. Bleaurgh.
