Oh, so Metallica are releasing videos for each track off the new album every hour or so. I'm not going to listen to any more as I'd like there to be some surprises on the album. Here's one of the better tracks: Now That We're Dead.

That's a dangerous song title to be bring out in 2016, or the year of death as it's turning out.

Strangely enough, the latest Metallica video is an animated tribute to Lemmy, the first (I think) of the big names to die at the end of last year: Murder One

As in 'Bloke who used to be in Siouxie & The Banshees' Budgie? (well, nobody is currently in that band because they retired the band ages ago).

No, this lot. British rock band who have been going since the early 70's. Had a bit of a revival since Metallica covered two of their songs, Breadfan and Crash Course In Brain Surgery.

Alice Cooper on Spotify. The bit rate's so low the songs are almost new... Either that or Spotify bought and uploaded a box of used cassettes. That said, I haven't heard an ad in a long time... I don't think that company knows what it's doing any more tbh.

I was in a 24 hour supermarket very late last night and, because why not, they were playing mid 90's trance on the tannoy. I've been on a roll of that all day, and have finally decided this is the epitome of that particular musical genre

Café Del Mar by Energy 52

However I also came across this, which is ruddy brilliant

Café Del Mar with an actual orchestra

The RPO plays Queen - It's on Spotify and Prime (I think), it's just immense if you like Queen.
