Shouldn't the GP's pay for this? It was the inability of the GMA to monitor and police GP's that allowed Shipman to get away with it for so long. Passing the buck again. ![]() |

Shipman was not the fault of any GP. He was an excellent clinician. His patients loved him. The only reason he got caught was because the family contested the new will as they had one in their possession already. I currently have to jump through hoops for revalidation and appraisals to prevent this. Shipman would have passed with flying colours. Bereaved families already have to pay charges, though I can't recall the cost. The £150 is more than they pay for cremation forms to be filled. |
