Some people will not listen and make life much more difficult for themselves and never learn that if someone who has control over what you do says to do something....generally you do it

Emmets feel perfectly entitled to park on a private driveway, swear at the owner of said driveway when challenged and then sod off down to the beach.

I also learnt that the Police won't touch vehicles on private land, but that if owner of said land touches the vehicle or forces it on to the road, then Police will become involved - prosecuting the poor victim of the illegal trespass.

Said owner of land was sorely tempted to borrow a friend's Ranger Rover, and drag the piece of [LIFTED] onto the public highway, and then tell Police that said vehicle was now obstructing said public highway.

I learnt today to fear and respect the sun, after spending 6 hours with no shade, sun block, or clothes long enough to cover my limbs.
Seriously kids, just say no to sun burn.
I thought I'd caught a nice tan after spending the last few weeks bodding about in t shirt and shorts. I was apparently wrong in this assumption.

I learned that you would have to eat 12 large bags of Jelly Babies to get the same amount of fruit as you'd get from one small apple.

I think that's a challenge worth accepting!

Only one third of the Common Octopus' neurons are in it's brain. The other two thirds are spread throughout the rest of it's body.

Today I learnt that people who work in banks can actually be helpful. Yes indeed...
