I'd no idea they'd all formed a band.

You can go and see a massive CPU made using hand-soldered transistors in Cambridge:
Hand-soldered CPU has 42,000 transistors, weighs half a ton

There was a third Human Centipede film made. I’ve not seen any of them, and I read that the second was so dreadful that it was unlikely that a third would be made. Apparently, I was wrong.

I saw a bit of the first one by accident. You don't want to see them.

That Trump's son is called Barron. Barron Trump. It's a heck of a name.

Sexism is very much alive and well.

Client called this morning and asked if he had dialed the correct number and was speaking to tech support because I answered

A lot of clients think they've got through to reception if the female techs answer the call

How did you answer the phone?
If it was just "Hello", they might not have appreciated they'd got through to tech support.
If it was "Hello, this is Caz, tech support technician (or other appropriate title)", it might be concerning.

Sometimes I have to telephone patients or have been asked to return a call. Normally I call and state "Hi, this is Dr Wolf calling for Mrs Bloggs". However, even then I have patients saying "Oh is that Dr Wolf?" about two minutes into the conversation.

I answer every call with the company name, my name and then say 'how can I help you? Plus I have seen the tickets that come in and I know I have more technical knowledge than 99% of the people logging them. Not to mention 21 years experience working in IT. I could go on.

I've even answered some questions off the bat without even logging a ticket lol

They're just sexist w****** :)

Do you have an IVR or prompt on the line, or does it dial straight through to the helpdesk ring group?

We have a completely different number for support and all calls come through to the ring group. Why are you asking?
