OK folks I get really awful mobile phone reception at home, Vodafone currently but tried most of them, is there a booster aerial of some sort I can but for the house? I know you can for TV's so logic suggests teh same for mobiles. Thoughts?

Nokia used to sell booster aerials...

Off topic, my mate Aled has an iPhone 3G on Orange, he can't get 3G at home or in Aberystwyth, but can get it at full 3G signal about two miles outside Aber in the middle of nowhere

Rather annoyingly, the area I live has fantastic reception with great 3G speeds. Except in my flat!
Ended up giving my dongle away and not using the phone as much.

I think there was a review of that in this month's PC Pro, but I'm too lazy to look for it... You can also get repeaters which put an aerial on the roof and another inside. I knew a sales guy who had to get one fitted at home in order to keep his job. Cost a small fortune...

GSM repeaters are about £100 from china, easy to fit as well (but not as tidy as the vodafone jobbie)
