Post subject:  Red letter day - what to do?
Thanks to those who got the ultimate steal promotion from my sig and shared it with their friends, turned out my team 'won' the 2nd leg with a clear lead (despite not actually having any time or money to promote with prizes like the CPC competition) and apparently the team has won Red Letter day vouchers for this achievement....

So.... I have between £100 and £300 in RLD vouchers I think (depends on how many of my team collect theirs), is there anything people have done and would recommend? I was thinking about skid pan/Ferrari driving experience or possibly rallying or the stunt driving

Also for people who have done it, how long do you usually get in the car and how long is the event?

The closest I've got was a few laps round Thruxton in an F430.
I highly recommend it. If I go back, it'll be in the Viper SRT10.
It was only 3 laps behind the wheel, but I did get a passenger seat in an RX8 on a hot lap.
As a way to spend £100, it's not bad.
As for skidpan training, I'd say that's both worthwhile in the real world and a real hoot.

I don't think so, I have worked pretty much all year without any notable bonuses or special recognition, and I have made enough money for charity already this year lol

Am I not right in thinking that the red letter day is a gift from your employer?? I thought it was, and if it is then I would consider that recognition.

I think he meant that, aside from the red letter thingy, he's not had any bonuses, etc... but I suspect that you already knew that...

Last time I went on one of these you got about 10-15 minutes in a Renault Clio Cup and about 15 minutes in the Ferrari.
