Morning all. Three more work days then I'm off until January 3rd. Guess I'd better start thinking about what to get Mrs. V. for Christmas. I think some subtle hint dropping may be in order... is "So, what do you want for Christmas?" subtle enough? Thought so. Morning all.
So, last week of work before Christmas. In theory my new sofa's should be being delivered this week (although no news yet as to whether this will actually happen).
Parents coming down for the festivities at the end of the week - they were planing to come down on Friday but I have suggested maybe avoiding Friday as I expect the roads to be hell due to traffic volume.
Only two days of the boss this week as well and Friday is a half day (or even a whole day off depending on sofa's).

Last week at work here to then not back until 2018
Did various relatives etc over the weekend so that's them all ticked off

Parents (and dog) arrived yesterday. Travel chaos failed to materialise, which was nice.
Need to get veg for Christmas dinner so braving the supermarket at some point - that’ll be fun.
