Morning all.
Helpful warnings that the A1 was shut at the junction I use to join it from Peterborough - as expected, turned out to be lies as usual (I think it was closed northbound though).
It'll be interesting to see if the folks coming to work fro further afield manage to get here though.

Well gwr got me into work no problem and then shut Paddington station 40 mins later just as I got into the office
- so turned around and went home - so that was a waste of a morning

Morning all.
Yay Friday! Got off to a good start as had to double back home to check I'd turned off the gas fire (I had, so wasted trip). Still, the Friday effect meant the delay didn't make it harder to get parked at work.
More snow forecast round 'ere for about 4pm so will see how that goes. The main issue round here is the wind, the snow hasn't really been too bad although it sounds like surrounding areas have been much more badly affected, especially across the border from Cambridgeshire into Lincolnshire.
