I’m scheming something - that something is so far known to myself and a select few, partly because I’m still mapping out what I want to do and how I want it to work. Given that the signals are that I’m not going to get much work out of what I’ve been doing (a phone conversation today didn’t exactly inspire my confidence that it will), I’m considering a sideways step. So far, the business minded people I’ve been speaking to are very positive about my ideas, and that’s starting to consolidate in my head. I am starting to think that I will have to take the next step. The painful one - that is raising funds to get going. Some of that will be talking to some banks to see what they can do to supplement my cash investment.
It has the potential of getting rather scary and exciting in equal measures. The question is - dare I step off the pier - is the tide in?
