It feels like everybody wants to apply feminism to everything these days. Even if they don't know why they're angry... I saw a review of Robot Wars stating almost everything had been kept the same, then moaning that a female was still talking to the contestants.

There hasn't been a good review of TKJ yet. Everyone is saying they went overboard with the Barbara angle, probably feeling they had to justify you know what.

Hushed Voices: Kevin Conroy And Mark Hamill Hint About Future Animated 'Batman' Movies
http://sciencefiction.com/2016/09/06/hu ... an-movies/

I get the distinct impression KJ is awful - for one thing I keep forgetting to watch it! Plus even HMV are only asking £8 for it ffs. But Hush.... Though something makes me think they've already done the pivotal scene in 'Death in one of their films.

He knows he can do whatever he likes and WB will have to accept it. They're too far down the road to kick Affleck out.

I finally watched TKJ. There was good bits in there. The first third had me hooked. But it got boring towards the end. Batgirl just looked like she was horny for Batman, rather than be strong in her own right. The second half took a different theme and could have been a different film altogether. The climax towards the end just wasn't there and they copied the ambiguity of the ending. It's been quite a few years since I read the comic so I feel I can't comment on accuracy. At least with some of the other DC animated Batman films, I felt it had come to a conclusion, this one didn't.
