Just had a toy-selling website suggest the photo I sent them of two totally different shades of yellow paint on a giant figure isn't that visible. They're refunding me, but I [LIFTED] hate that crap. And we're talking £140 here. 'I can't see the difference and I asked my friend and he says they're all like that'...

Really, cos the one I just bought elsewhere is perfect. Funny that. And you just know they'll sell it to someone else and try to pull the same crap if they complain. They even said Hasbro doesn't let them do returns, which seems incredulous to me :?

Would it be worth the effort of contacting Hasbro?

I was thinking that. But either way, I'm covered between selling regs, my credit card, and Paypal.

I'm gonna see how it plays out. I won't be long letting the UK Transformers forums know what's happening, that's for sure

Yep.
Your contract is with the seller, not the manufacturer. Whether their supplier lets the seller return the faulty item to them or not is irrelevant.

It was more to point out the behaviour of the reseller rather than quality control at Hasbro. They might take an interest that a reseller is showing Hasbro in a negative light. Or they may not care either way.

For the sake of a quick email I'm likely to do it anyway :D

Amazon must be the only website in the world that doesn't have 50 separate stages of FAIL at the checkout - it's like the rest don't enjoy money.

The pug had previously barfed on a jumper and the blanket that covers the sofa, so I washed those.

Half an hour later he walked into his cage and barfed over his own bed :x

You're not paranoid if it's true. Or something. I miss Bratty!

Yeah, I must admit that, as annoying as he could be at times, his absence has been noted.

On a toy forum I did the polite thing in moderator terms and used an old thread to ask a question. A very popular question as it turned out (who's your favourite YouTube reviewer?'), indeed a mod even answered in a detailed fashion.

The mods there are fond of listing ALL the other threads that already exist if you dare to post a new topic (let's just ignore how silly that makes them look). Sure enough, another mod came along and locked the thread listing more recent ones, saying there was no need to use a 2011 thread. So why didn't he lock them after doing his search? And I didn't use an old one cos it was the first one that specifically mentioned YouTube reviewing, did I? Of course he locked the thread meaning I couldn't call him out...

The Transformers fandom is already toxic enough* without mods on a fcuking power trip.

* Adults who buy toys arguing that said toys aren't in scale with fictional characters in a 'dynamically animated' cartoon from 1984, and so on.

Zavvi have the most appalling customer service this side of Yodel.

Could I provide the SKU number of items I listed before that their discount code wasn't working on?

Apart from me doing their work for them, the SKUs aren't visible anywhere! They're lucky I even know what they're talking about, frankly.
