I've sent them sy SA forms for 2006/2007 gawd knows how many times, and they have verbally agreed that it's all been taken care of on numerous occasions, but that hasn't stopped them sending two threatening letters in the last week.

I've just downloaded the form, (for the umpteenth time) and now I need to go and try to find the relevant paperwork... again.

The only way I solved it was to make an appointment at the local tax office and make someone sort it out face-to-face

they do that because when you get fed up of that car, its designed to keep the petrol in so u just throw a match in the tank to blow the car up a kinda "self destruct" mechanism

There's not even a proper drainage plug on the tank, apparently. The Haynes manual recommends an almost empty tank before attempting to remove a damaged one for replacement.

As it's being scrapped can't you break the anti-siphon mechanism by pushing a hooked rod down the filler pipe and pulling it out?

Don't know. I haven't a clue about how the mechanism is set up. I might have a look when it's warmer.

Human effing rights.
People who demand that their "human rights" are being infringed and of course they need a stupidly large payouts to compensate them because of it. Not that human rights are a bad thing but they do have, well I believe that they have, what are called responsibilities that go with them. For every right there is a responsibility.
