At least I'm doing something right in my life


It's actually 16½, however that ½ one was so pathetic that I don't count it. Trust me, I never did so many out of choice, but our school forces those in higher sets to do additional GCSEs just to make our life even harder.

I don't list my GCSEs on my CV any more, but some applications for jobs request them, and it was questioned in interview why my GCSEs were comparatively poor to my A. Levels and my progress on my current degree course. I'd always push.

16 GCSEs?... i only did 2, maths and English [language]...
I put 0 effort into either of them... got a C and a B respectively despite doing no coursework for the maths [and not turning up to one of the exams]... and only tuning up to the class to hand the coursework in [all 4 bits of which were done in about 20 minutes an hour or so before i had to hand them in...] and walking out of one of the exams early...

... and they say they aren't easy ...
