It looks like we're not going to become millionaires after all! I haven't got around to having a play with the SDK yet anyway...

I quite like it. Not had a play with 3.0 though yet, as I need to fork out some money for it, so it'll be another month. Hoping to have an app fairly complete by then for beta-testing, though. Edd

If the development environment is similar to OS X, I should imagine iPhone apps are a dream to write...Better than Java apps anyway!

I hope that goes well. Is it a commercial app for the store? Maybe you'll be the forum's millionaire instead!

Java is fine until you get to the GUI, where Windows does it one way, Solaris does it another way, Linux does it another way, and Apple are behind and do their own thing... I've never been keep on GUI drag-and-drop for Java because I see the code it produces, and I only ever learnt the Spring Layout... With OS X, I don't see/understand the code IB produces, so I'm non the wiser

Generally flickr-y thing. There'll probably be one that does what I want by the time I've written it, but certainly a while back I couldn't find what I wanted! Still not sure when I'll be able to afford Apple's $99, but we'll see! Edd
