It’s been confirmed that the opening two-parter of Doctor Who series 6 [season 32 in proper money] is to be set in 1960s America, and will shoot on US soil. More details, plus a short teaser trailer, right here. This doesn't really come as a surprise to me, as RTD is now based in America and it's been rumoured that he's going to be writing a couple of episodes for this season - as well as trying to get Torchwood relocated to the States.
