Alan Moore confirms he is retiring from creating comic books | Books | The Guardian

That came across better than his usual rants about people enjoying comics, but I do wonder if his ego suggests that his work in the 80's was the equivalent of dropping the mic. He'll always be a legend in that medium, and for good reason, but I really can't stand anyone insulting the fans of an IP they propped up! I mean he made his name and money that enabled his latest mad book via comics ffs.

Good on them. Though somehow it feels weird it took this long.

A great milestone to reach.

This is the second Prog 2000 they’ve done, though. They did one in the winter of 1999/2000 which was the start of their Winter Specials.

Outstanding. The Bats/TMNT crossover was excellent.

I do like the Frank Cho artwork for The Totally Awesome Hulk and bearing in mind the limitations of the character, the story is pretty good too.

Hmmm, I think some of those elements will be in the next Thor movie.

Reborn No.1 is out this Wednesday. I'll get it for Greg Capullo's art and will have to just wait and see what Mark Millar's writing is going to be like. I hope it's good as there are very few comics I can be bothered with at the moment.

I think artists' subconscious' kick in when it comes to those two. There was one where Supes was holding an empty cowl, but that wouldn't have been your first thought on seeing it. And that's to say nothing of Alfred's hand gestures at times...

It’s well worth seeking out The Walking Dead books.
