Oh, and Tesco's site randomly flicks between the desktop and mobile versions. That's when it's not signing you out. Online orders obviously suit these companies down to the ground, so what the fcuk is wrong with them?!

Received my email today... Raspberry Pi can be ordered. Tried it on the mobile and... it didn't bloody work. I reported it and have just received a reply. I'll try again later and let you know how I get on.

Edit to add: I'm on the main PC so can add more details. I was using the mobile to order the Pi, but the telephone number box didn't allow me to enter any information, even though it was mandatory. I tried on the laptop but I got an invalid code message, because I'd already used the activation code they emailed me... I was advised in the reply to the email I sent them to leave it an hour and try again. I did, on the main PC, and now I haz Pi... at least I will when they dispatch it, which will be in about 6 weeks...

Turns out to be a fail on the website, but a happy ending for me. :D

Mi Pi arrived earlier this week.

Also did or do you have a specific use in mind for it, or was it a "let's see what it can do?" thing?

I suggested she sit and ask herself, "WWHRD?"
(What would Henry Rollins do?)

OT: He's a really cool guy, had the pleasure of seeing 2 of his shows so far, but boy can he talk, last one my bum was numb as he went for over 3 hours without a break!

B&Q quality control fail
Bought two wall light, one was slightly bent out of shape. Took it back and checked another six that were on the shelves. They were all bent out of shape too. So only one in eight was as it should be.

Not knowing my parents were out when I could have been sitting downstairs in comfort on my own. Guess who's in the kitchen with me right now? :x

Purchased Rasperry Pi. Win.

Incorrect delivery address entered. Fail.

Correct house number and Postcode, previous-habitation street name  Sent an enquiry, no reply. Just live in hope?

Sorry to laugh, but I can keep you company on that one. A couple of years ago I gave a fellow forumite my parents old address to post some PC stuff to. I got a message a couple of weeks later saying "It got returned WTF?".

They hadn't lived there for 20 years...

More recently I've given the wrong delivery address on-line with a site that remembers your previous ones. Pure absent mindedness. Luckily I managed to change it.

Good luck with the Pi. I should be ordering one soon!
