Today, I shall mostly be pondering ways to sit down that don't cause significant pain,

Morning All,

I've become accidentally ginger

I lightened my hair to take the purple out last night, then layered another colour (supposedly "natural blonde") over the top, but it's come out distinctly ginger  I guess I'll be stopping at Boots on the way home again  Work is going to be another busy day but at least the temperature is a bit more reasonable. Today I have to remember to call my car insurance company and go to the bank at lunchtime, and do some online banking and that's all beyond the actual work-related stuff :D

Well, the work won't do itself. Jon I hope you can get some relief soon, positive thoughts being sent out to any and all else that need them 8-)

G'day!

Britstock Photo was invited to act as official photographers for a business exhibition. There was a stint yesterday, and it's running again today. I turned up to yesterday's event, only it was a bit lacklustre. Got some shots, which I won't be sharing just yet, mainly of exhibitors talking amongst themselves. I've left it that if punters arrive in numbers today, someone will call me and I'll pop over again.

Otherwise, same old same old. At least it's cooler today. Yesterday was a trifle too much.

It never rains but it pours, doesn't it? In addition to the leg and the weird phantom blisters on my hand, my epiglottis is now the size of Bournemouth which makes swallowing anything above the size of a liquid something as a challenge.

On the plus side, I'm off to London today. Just in the process of packing everything in a last minute flurry.

I wonder if this is all stress related? It could be that your immune system's taking a battering from the stress about the leg. I only say that because blisters are a symptom of your skin not regerating itself properly, especially if there's nothing else related to them and your hands are a fairly active area, and if your epiglottis (assuming you mean epiglottis and not uvula) has swollen up as well it could be that you're fighting something off.

It's grey and overcast today here as well, I actually had to put my cardie on when I got out of my car but it'll be muggy again this afternoon if yesterday is anything to go by. Work is busy again and my hayfever is starting to kick-in but it's later than usual so that's a small mercy. Traffic was a bit heavy this morning and for some reason I just couldn't get myself going, but perhaps some breakfast will help.

Morning.

Kept awake for vast swathes of the night by Best Beloved's coughing. Again. He was over it, then got another bloody cold. I can't cope with this lack of sleep. I have work to do, and I can't concentrate on it. He's still hacking away now. A pillow might be required shortly, before I break a window with my head.

A lot cooler now, too. Yesterday was too windy, as well. Never happy. :D

Now, strategies for keeping myself awake...
