Yup there is an excellent butchers on the right in Green street and there used to be a brilliant pasta shop around the corner, sadly no more.

That was the butchers opposite, next to The Green Tree. <eddit>That'd be the butchers Alun just mentioned</eddit>

Which isn't a bad little pub  Although I Prefer the raven on quiet street or the pig around the corner.

Cous cous - so good they named it twice.
You can actually cook fresh pasta by just pouring hot water over and leaving to soak for few mins. They do it here at work.

Nope, so called because it's one of the few places in Bath where you can't see a tree, apparently. Had some very nice stout last time I was there. Jumping back to Queen Street, momentarily, The Raven & The Salamander both do nice food and drink. <eddit>Seems that in the time whilst I was distracted by work, you mentioned The Raven too</eddit>

My step monster has one and used to crucify chicken in it so it put me off for life.

My Dad has one and uses it to great effect  Seriously its great for making stocks etc.
