Meh. South Park. You expect me to know about South Park? Do I look 12?

And people complain about the influx of people from ex-communist European countries.

And that's as I said, Mac users don't seem to care what the bare metal is. They are more concerned with the software on top. Since Apple moved to x86 *spit* PC users have used their poor choice of hardware as the basis for their argument, whereas Mac users couldn't care less. Could this point out the fact that PC users think their software giant doesn't make great software? It's interesting how the argument has turned over the last three years or so.

South Park is one of the greatest works of satire ever known - and it's a failing of truly epic proportions when those who can't see past it's crude animation and puerile demeanour mock it for being aimed at children. I challenge you to watch to Margaritaville (13.03) without being immensly amused by the skill of Parker & Stone's talents.

Is SP still available on terrestrial TV? I used to watch episodes when it was on Channel 4 late on a Friday night. I also liked King of the Hill, but then C4's schedulers seemed to be on acid or something, and kept shuffling shows about randomly. I fully respect the satirical work, but if I can't watch it because it's not readily available, what can I do?

There are methods but none one can discuss here.

Software always makes the device - computer, phone, washing machine.... It’s how you, the user, end up with the results you are after. I remember loathing Macs. No, really, I did. I found them under powered, slow, and painful to use. At the time, I was using my Acorn Archimedes, and I was able to achieve MORE on a 1MB machine with no hard drive than on a Mac with 8MB RAM and a hard drive. I really wondered how such a machine had become an industry standard, and the need to reboot after a software crash was laughable. I used to lug my Acorn into Uni and finish work on it which the Macs could not handle. This dislike was based on the software experience - as the limitations were down to the OS and the software running ontop of it. The hardware was, on paper, newer and more sophisticated than the ageing Acorn, yet at the time RISC OS and the Apps from Computer Concepts (now Xara) ran rings around the Macs. I used Macs in preference to windows as I started work after Uni, and found it to be better than Windows - but it was only when Mac OS X appeared that my liking for the Mac really came into its own. It felt *right*. I can place no real empirical data to support that feeling. Crashes were fewer than previous OSes, and any crashes did not need a reboot (apart from one truly spectacular crash I found when beta testing an app which brought the whole system down in stages - fun to watch). Working for a Mac developer has shown me the care that Apple have put into their UI, and how much Apple developers care about such things. I can not speak for Windows developers as I have no experience working with any, but the main thrust of Apple’s UI is that all applications should, as far as possible, use the same UI elements for similar things. This means that if you have used one application, then that experience educates your use of the next one, and so on. As far as hardware goes - I really don’t lose sleep that the hardware uses it that some claim is out of date. I don’t buy Macs to be at the bleeding edge of the hardware revolution. I buy them because, like Heather, I can make money with them, and I just like using them. My job would be more painful if I did not enjoy the environment in which I was working.

Lol, I am from one of those countries* But I swear, we don't duck tape people. We cannot afford to waste precious duck tape on such things. We just stone them to death. It works out cheaper *but if you call me Polish I'll slap you

I would draw a graph here, but can't be bothered to do it.
Apple has what, a small percent of the OS market share. If it were to open up its OS to everyone, not just to 'Mac' hardware, I'd buy it. It would also present real competition to MS.

Can I call you Brasso or Mr Sheen instead?

And would you run it on Apple's recommended hardware? Or would you expect it to just work across all platforms? Because that's where Apple would fall I think, supporting the masses and masses of devises out there. My Welsh friend, saw a can of polish and was shocked you could get "Canned Polish", he actually panicked and started looking for "Canned Welsh"...Still, that's why we love him!
