I remember it (I've got a few Alias box sets in the attic somewhere) but I rather did think the show had disappeared up it's own arse by that point.
Me you and Old Ben.
It's also good to know I'm not alone in my appreciation for (or of) Melissa George.

Red heat is on. Jim Belushi is acting opposite ray's dad from everybody loves Raymond. If only larry fishburne's small part had been played by frasier, the channel four morning circle would have been completed.

Crocodile Dundee is starting in a sec. What happened to all the good but fun movies of the 80s? Like Ferris Bueller, BTTF, The Karate Kid, Ghostbusters, BHC etc. There was action, comedy but there was also heart. Even the Nolan Batman trilogy doesn't have heart.

I often wonder about that, and I just wish I had an answer. There was a time when almost anything got made :(

Gah! The feckers on E4 have edited bits of the film out like the word "screw" andthe bit where he shreds a thug's clothes for attempted mugging. The entire thing seems a bit disjointed with all the edits. How come when I was a kid, no one edr had issues with shows like this? Think I was about 8-9 years old when it came on TV.

So Homeland has started.
I admit I watched the first series.

I think Ch4 doesn't help. Ad breaks every ten minutes really disjoint the thing. I compare it to The Bridge which aired on BBC4, which was a long journey but didn't seem so broken. And was probably superior too, subjective I know.

If you watched it in the US, there'd be just as many. I haven't started this yet. I saw the trailer in Italy for it coming over there earlier this year. Looked interesting and I like Damien Lewis, so that's generally enough. But I'll get to it at some point...

JJ Abrams

Melissa (and doesn't her workplace have seemingly a lot in common with Credit Dauphine?)

And Kudos the production company that brought us Spooks, Hustle and Life on Mars (amongst other things).

I saw that. Got the first 3 saved up to watch. Btw one of the guys in it, Warren Brown, is also in Homefront which I've been enjoying.
