Well, it's been and gone and they don't want me...
I tripped up on what system call gets passed a path and returns an inode and on the big-O of quick sort. The other questions went fairly well though...

Well, a few minutes spent with a famous search engine that begins with G - you might want to try it sometime - coughed up information about a company called Pecks.

I'll let you work out the rest of the stuff about fish paste, World War 2, how it ended up in Australia and now seems to be a South African export. I don't see why I should do all the work for you.

(Hint: try typing "Pecks" and "Anchovette" into the search engine thing.) ;)

I was barely taught quick sort/algorithms in general at uni aside from A* so it caught me out. Google are REALLY big on big-O

Was this a UK position? One I had was in Seattle but not the end of the world :)

If you are interested in places to look let me know, asked on another forum and got a LOT of good advice on places

In other news....... looks like I am graduating with a 2:1 in the worst case scenario, 63% provisional before possibly switching modules and my PEC is considered, so there is still a fair chance I could get a first :)

And I got a job interview next week and hopefully some more to come :D

But that's a bottle. Shaped a bit like a grenade by being fat in the middle ;)
