Erm, weren't Greenback's hench"men" crows, not toads?

It's an origins story, so maybe he had toads in those days. Also it's a spoof. A wind-up. A piss take. Call it what you will but it's not... I can't think how to end that sentence. ;)

IIRC his right hand err... man was a crow. With an Italian accent for no good reason. I think the rest of his gang may have been toads, but I don't think we saw them all that often.

No I knew that. Penfold did come across a bit camp at times in the cartoon. Later, I always thought that Nationwide chap looked like Penfold. It was the glasses.

I know it is a spoof, still not a ground to be sloppy...

There's a fantastic joke by Ed Byrne, about how his wife now never asks him what he's thinking. It goes along the lines of them being sat on a park bench on a lovely summer's afternoon and she thinks it's quite romantic and asks him what he's thinking, and he replies 'I'm thinking... if I was a spy, which of these park benches would provide the best cover from a sniper..'

Although I do love the idea of a 'List of Approved Sentimental [LIFTED].'
