That's disgraceful, and IMO deliberately misleading.

The MS biscuits are more expensive than the Waitrose biscuits, but both are super-luxury items. The McVities biscuits are also expensive, but far less so. The Tesco value biscuits for 19p are cheap. They all do the job (make you fat), but the luxury ones are more impressive if you want to show off at parties.

Oh dear I'm not expressing myself very well am I? Excuse me one moment.......... That's better *deep breath* Let's say three houses A, B and C get built. Each house costs £100,000 to build. I then build house D which is bigger and costs £190,000 to build If those houses are then sold at £200,000 each then A, B & C are expensive whilst D isn't. Comparing house A with houses B & C does not stop A being expensive. Please tell me you understand me - even if you think I'm wrong. I hate having a thought on the inside of my head that I can't fully bring to the surface

It has a dock connector, and Apple will sell adapters to allow you to plug in memory cards. An utterly ridiculous idea, and one that Sony would be proud of. And Rusty, I do understand you and take your point. However, I do place value on aesthetics, design, and ease of use. For me the iPad would come up first in these arenas - an OS I'm familiar with and prefer to Windows and Linux, on what I consider to be a good looking design. At the moment, it's just too much of a premium though. I'm sure future generations will build on this.

Maybe that's a word CC would be happy with. It's not expensive; it's a "premium product". Too big a premium for me too.

The native resolution of the iPad i believe is the lowest they can have and still class it as HD (or show 720), though I may be wrong.

Why? It means that without having an extra hole stuck in the side of the device you can still get content on to it. It also allows multiple connectors can utilise the same port. Mark

1. Because they'll probably sell them for around £20 and you're likely to want at least one, if not two. 2. What if you want to charge your iPad and plug an SD card into it? 3. If they just put a USB on the side then you could plug your flash drive into it, or use an aftermarket adapter of your choice which a large amount of people already have and use to get their photos onto their PCs/Macs. BTW has this thing got a built in webcam/microphone?

If it didn't look like a giant iPhone/digital photo frame I might have considered it. As it happens I'll see what other manufacturers come up with.

Something cheaper, but more annoying to use would be my bet. In fact, something cheaper, covered in ports, with a poor build of Linux, that'll cram in a physical keyboard, up the screen size and resolution. Oh wait, it's a netbook.

It's not. It doesn't have a cam, but it has a mic. And a speaker of course. VOIP here we come, presumably.
