I would go for that, or if there's no community hall, people(I'm thinking the northerners /people who live far away) could crash at my dad's house in Bedfordshire. I have it for a few weeks over summer with some friends. Haven't got any dates yet, so hopefully I can arrange my holidays so I'm down when the meet up is taking place. Joe

Are we still up for this? London was a vote ahead of Birmingham in this thread, while August was an outright winner in this thread.

Trying to meet a consensus is pointless and will never happen. Someone needs to make an executive decision. Those that can make it will those that can't wont.

Is that the date we've set the 1st of August? That's good cause that's right in the middle of my summer break down south. Won't be able to stay out too late as I have festival tickets for the 2nd. btw if the date is still an open topic, could I recommend the weekends either side of the 1st/2nd of August as I will be in the vicinity for those 2 weeks / 3 weekends. Joe

I could make the 1st of August or the 8th for that matter. If either of those are the dates then I suggest we sort out a meeting time and place (tee hee, Meeting Place) fairly sharpish otherwise it's quite hard to find people at random in London.

Once we know a definite date, I may be able to work around it. Since I live in Northern England, I would will need sufficient notice for travel and accommodation arrangements. I'm only attending on the condition that bish attends Peter.

I don't think bish can attend for security reasons.

I shall be down that way on Friday 7th and staying over in Kings Langley, so Saturday 8th would be simplest for me. However, I could theoretically make the 1st. It depends if I can fill the car to split the bill; 4 people would be a quarter the price. I would also be up for a "sleep over" of some kind. Joe's floor or up a tree, I'm not really bothered as long as I don't get eaten by bugs. I really like trees. Can we meet in a tree? Oh, I'm only coming if PG dresses up like a penguin. Did I mention that already?

Who is the person that is going to make the decision over the date?
