Good morning all,
My legs hurt this morning - I led a campfire on Saturday night and we did a rendition of "My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean" where you crouch down or stand up every time you sing a word beginning with 'b'.
Otherwise, the sun is out, hoping for a nice week.

O hai there. It's been a while, mostly because this place went AWOL for a while and I thought it likely wasn't coming back, so I stopped checking the site, and here I am, after randomly seeing if it had returned.

Haha, I got roughly into the routine of coming and spouting nonsense, then as I got out of the routine some old friends appeared!
Good to see you both, hope you're doing well.

Awwww! Obi is gorgeous! It's old news now, but probably not mentioned on here - Berti the Basset Hound came to live with us a little over five years ago He was much more energetic than we were expecting for the first few years but in the past year or two he's slowed down a fair bit, though he does still like to run and play he's not as demanding as he was when he was a pup.

What a brilliant name, Berti. Obi came to us 18 months ago, he was a re-home. His owners couldn't give him the attention he needed as they already had 3 other dogs, and he was starting to develop behavioural issues due to lack of attention. So we took him on and he was so timid with us at first. It took him a year before he even wagged his tail for the first time, but he's come on leaps and bounds since then, and he still craves attention and has some separation anxiety, we are managing that and he's just amazing to have around. That is so rewarding. My brother had an ex-puppy farm dog some years ago and seeing her come out of her shell was pretty magical. Faye was set on getting a Basset Hound and they almost never come up for adoption, she found a breeder who met various criteria. Part of our contract stated that we are not allowed to rehome Berti, if it comes to that they he should be returned back to the breeder - not sure how common that is, but but might explain why they aren't seen more frequently.
