Downgrading a server tonight. Upgraded from 5.0(8) to 5.0(26) last week to fix a problem, which it it did. However, it caused a worse problem. Having tried various levels of 6.0 and 6.1 (which you have to pay for) have come to the conclusion that the original problem wasn't as bad as the available "solutions" Response from tech support was "yea it's funny that, but it's not supported"

Play.com - 'That sale item's doing really well for us, quickly, double the price!' So my advice is to check their weekly deals out ASAP on the Monday if you're after anything...

I can't make proper poached eggs (they really need to be fresh) so my sister bought me a rubber egg poacher. The idea is that you crack an egg in it and lower it into some water.
My first try failed because the water was boiling and the bubbles went into the egg chamber and the entire thing capsized. The second attempt has left me boiling the damn thin for close to fifteen minutes. I could have boiled three eggs, one after another in that time.

Our next door neighbour is pressuring us to put the "festive" lights up outside. (We are semi-detached, and we share the lit frontage, if you see what I mean.) 1. I dislike Christmas as it is. 2. It's still November. 3. The Blackpool illuminations muppet down the road hasn't done his yet, so I don't see why we should be first in the street this year. If I had my way, the lights would go up December 21, and down again on December 27.

If it were up to me, it'd follow the traditional way - up on Xmas Eve and down twelve days later.
Anything else would be unauthorised and removed. It means any silly eyesores are up for less than two weeks which is more than enough for anyone!

It's already started 'round here - I saw a reindeer nailed to the front of a house 'round corner last Friday 18th November, although it wasn't plugged in at the time. I expect it is now.
I wouldn't object to something relatively tasteful in the window, but it's indefensible when it's over 9000.

+1 We have first advent tomorrow, which should be the earliest that anything should appear, including in shops! The girls are upstairs baking "Plätzchen", festive biscuits, ready for the family get-together tomorrow afternoon - the whole of my girlfriend's family gets together - grandmother, her 6 children, their children and their children's children. Depending on how many actually make it, it is usually between 30 and 45 people, from mid 80s down to about 4. They also do it for birthdays etc., but then, usually, a smaller group, maybe 15 to 20 family members plus some friends.

While chanting "Ho Ho Ho", pausing for sporadic maniacal cackling.

I couldn't do that. She's a nice neighbour and a friend. She just gets carried away with the whole crimble thing sometimes.

2 hour meeting with client to go over process before delivery of project on Monday.... she only cared about the content... and took 4 hours to say so
So now we have to do another meeting wednesday (after one which will take most of the day for me) to discuss what we actually wanted to discuss in this meeting and fix any issues
I can't see the issues being worked out on time let alone delivering on time any more given how verbose the meetings are. Content manageable sections are that for a reason... not so we add them in for you so you can see if you like the content you provided...
