1997 Mk3 Astra. Or, in less words: Too bloody young. Fin: I might debate doing that if I can find a suitable way of jacking the entire car off the ground for a morning. I think my cat has well and truely had it, although I'm still of the opinion that I don't need the bloody thing. Damn you, environment mob. *shakes fist* Ho hum, industrial year should stir up enough dough to get the Land Rover on the road. Or sell it and get a Series IIA - they're all pre-72 as well, so the tax man can go forth and sodomise himself.

Just been tinkering with my htpc Apparently I now get ITV1 HD (at last, needed a tinker as ITV need to fix their transponder emission as its one of the few channels that requires a reg hack to get despite being 'live') as well as better reception for sky news, bbc news, cnn, C4+1 and a channel called MSK which apparently shows irish sports (so might be handy over the world cup/6 nations for catching the Irish games So that is now 3 HD channels and every Freesat channel (I think, possibly missing a couple) on a £20 PCI card for my HTPC Good thing everything isn't dvb-s2 yet, will no doubt switch to my more powerful C2D setup when that comes round and bung a couple of dvb-s2 cards in so I get a better range of hd channels and the ability to watch one while recording another (at least)

Don't fret, likely just to be a loose heat shield, should be fixed with a new screw and a washer.

Hopefully. That said, I've had both mid and rear boxes give up the ghost, and it is a relatively old motor. If I can get underneath I'll be having an oggle.

Bless you. (Sorry! I developed this Fast Show habit during the general election campaign. Every time someone talked about "big issues" I said "bless you". It's now become a proper habit.)

Yeah but my cat doesn't respond to the name 'Rizla', nor will it wear a string lead.

Every so often I get an email notification that takes me to Mark's OP in this thread - just how random is the thread? I think we should be told
