Anybody watch Holby yesterday? Funniest thing I've seen in ages.

Anyone seen the trailers for Charlie Brooker's new outing on Sky 1?

It just about spat out my dinner when the trail came on:
A Touch of Cloth

TV Guide says:
Quote:
Channel 4, 10.10pm - I'm Spazitus
This fresh new take on the hidden camera prank show format features a cast of disabled talent with varying disabilities, pranking members of the public in a cheeky and irreverent way. Tonight, a parachutist in a wheelchair gets stuck in a tree

Um, I really don't know what to make of that.

Sad and a bit angry to be honest. :( Sad that disabled people felt the need to take part in this exploitative crap, and angry that it was comissioned in the first place. Seriously, this is 2012, is this progress?

So the disabled aren't allowed to make jokes about disability? :?

Sherlock Holmes premiered over here last night... Meh.

Interesting, but Holmes seemed too stupid to be credible.

Page Eight last night on BBC2. Stellar cast bashing the Blair. Dumbledore dies leaving a grieving Borg queen. Viktor avenges with help from various maidens in distress including Tessa Quayle. Worth a look on iplayer if you missed it. It is probably some classic story in disguise, but that escapes me at the moment.

The inestimable Clive James on the subject

Was it dubbed? I found the new take to be outstanding - and as someone who enjoys the original Conan-Doyle stories immensely, that's something.
