Good luck if that's the right phrase. Hope it all goes well.

Good luck. I had it done about 4 years ago. No unwanted side effects.

It's good to have options... and a 3 month holiday.

That's the way to do it.

I'm from the Somme, I recommend going to visit if you are driving South. Especially Thiepval which was on TV yesterday, but also Newfoundland monument and Ulster tower which are very emotional to see.

The Iron harvest, to last another 500 years:

There are accidents with collectors who want to empty munitions either for their collections or to sell them.

What happened to Bratty?

If you can, watch the programme about Portland Down which was on BBC 4 this week. Shows what a hazardous mess was left behind, and the problems they have disposing of old munitions - especially the chemical agents.

When I was a child it was not uncommon that we'd be barred from part of the town because they found unexploded ammo. I remember a hot summers day when the car was full of food, they found one over 200kg, we had to go around to my aunt, put food in her fridge and wait several hours for it to be diffused. Kids frequently find them and play with them, it's a big issue.

Part of me wants to leave my current job. Part of me wants to stay. Not sure what to do.
