Hotel 52 is right on time square & rather nice. Room isn't massive but very nice. The hotel Affinia is my favourite. Right opposite Madison Square Gardens & Penn station, pricey buy massive suites. The woogo is also nice if you want a bit more of a New York living holiday. They''re actually apartments so your next door neighbour is a proper New Yorker. The apartments are fairly roomy (although could do with maybe a lick of paint) and you're near central park. You're also just down the road from the whole foods supermarket so you can save a fortune by cooking in your apartment.

Depending on your idea of "fortune" I would suggest hitting hotels.com which has some excellent deals, and has a map view of the hotels so you can see which area you're looking at. I have used it for my Designers a number of times and it's never let me down yet. As for hotel recommendations I can suggest: Budget - Hotel Riverside Studios at £69 per night Mid-Range - Hotel Belleclaire at £117 per night Top-End - Waldorf Astoria at £262 If you're like us a hotel is just a bed for the night, but I accept that lots of people aren't like us I would suggest you have a look on the site and see what you can find.

Many years from now, when the dust settles, people will look back on this day and say, "That's when it all started." My dad is already on Linux, but he started programming back when they still used punch cards!

my parents are utter n00bs, however since all they do is internet, email, office-y stuff and photos, they probably wont notice the difference the only problem weve hit so far has been getting the printer working its a lexmark x2350, if anyone has any handy hints for us to try?

Stupid bank. Ask me if I send cheques when I opened my new account and I said no (so dont need cheque book). Leave work early today to go to bank and make a large withdrawal and they say to do that I need a cheque book! Grrrr

Is it just headlines to direct you to the site, that sort of thing?
