In fairness, a Ford Fiesta could cost over £10k.
You could pick up a reasonable Skyrine for half that.

Just saying.

I want a 'proper' one ;) Either a blue R34 GTR with the black wheels (with no modifications whatsoever) or a new GTR in gun metallic

Note: I much prefer the RB26 engine though to the new one

[LIFTED] me dude, it's a wonder you're able to type at all, let alone answer the phone!

I'm not a doctor, but I've done enough hospital/therapy time to have a vague clue about analgesics and psycho-actives. That's a cocktail and a half and with your levels of noreppy, serotonin and a few linked chemicals all over the shop, I wouldn't touch anti-histamines with a barge pole. But that's me. Too much medication is rarely good.

If there's no pain in your hand, keep an eye, but don't do anything nuts meds wise. If it develops, or you get pain, hit the docs (although that could be difficult up the line). How long have you been on that stuff for and do you mind if I ask what for and how much longer?

You can pick up an R34 GT-R for about the same price as a £10k Fiesta... maybe not the new one though. ;)

The only thing I've been taking consistently for a long time is the diclofenac, which is the analgesic.

The tramadol and diazepam are only for where the pain is bad, which has been the case for about the last fortnight since my last physio appointment when he added in some extra exercises in. The root problem is sciatica (sp?) which I've had in varying levels of severity for about 2 years now.

I did double check with the pharmacist before getting the anti-histamines, and made him aware of what I was already on; it was he that pointed out that three of the four options lead to drowsiness.

Edit: I spoke to the Dr a few days ago to get some of the prescriptions renewed and he is starting to talk in terms of getting some scans done and possibly surgery.

Good. That much pain medication for that long, is rarely good.

The diclofenac is also an anti-inflammatory and a classic muscle pain treatment. The other two are more serious and have potentially wider repercussions over longer periods and in conjunction with other substances. I'm sure this'll be the same as somebody asking me if I've ever considered contacts....... BUT, have you ever thought about tai chi or yoga? After I broke my ankle over a year ago now, it's still at it's best when I'm at training. Regular exercise, or just day-to-day existence don't cut it.

I think something eastern and energy based could be hugely beneficial to you.

I have a selection of exercises that the physio has given me to do, both for moving / improving the joint itself and also to try and strengthen my core muslces. Most of them are lifted straight out of basic Yoga moves.

You're missing the point young padawan. I've done physio, I know how that is. It's not the moves that are primarily important ;)

I've overhead some interesting couple convos/debates/full on arguments in supermarkets in my time, but that's coming on for most hilarious.

On my flight to Denmark last Thursday there were two off-duty trolly dollies talking about pregnancy for the entire flight. They spared no detail about which positions are best for keeping sperm at the cervix.

I now have a problem with a selection of random blisters over a patch of my right hand.

By pure coincidence, I had a similar patch a couple of weeks ago on my left hand which was rather itchy. I put it down to contact with a corrosive chemical of some kind because the blisters appeared over night and slowly healed up without spreading or returning.

I'm not certain what I might have handled, but strong suspects are:

household cleaning products (bleach, laundry detergent)
lubricating oil (I oiled the gate with 3-in-1)
garden chemicals (weed killer)

I wouldn't worry unless it gets worse.

Am off to New York in November with the good lady :D and am looking for Hotel reccomendations.

We don't want to be completely out in the sticks but also don't want to spend a fortune in Hotel bills.

Any suggestions most welcome.
