Exactly correct - GMT all year please.

Want more light after work? Start earlier and leave the rest of us alone.

Or you could start later and leave us alone. ;)

Not really.

I don't know why I even commented on this thread, when I think about it I don't really care. At all.

In fact, I prefer the dark.

Yep

My job start time is between 8.30 and 9.30am and my gf starts at 8 and finishes at 4

Neither of us are milkmen or posties ;)

I used to be able to start at 07:00 and walk out at 16:00, or start at 10:00 and leave at 19:00, or anywhere in the middle.

Mine relatively flexible - I have 'core hours' of 10Am-4PM where I have to be in work, but it's up to me when I work outside those hours provided I work the number of hours a week I'm supposed to. So I tend to avoid the rush hour in the morning and work a bit later. I could just as easily go in early though.

The clocks have gone back an hour, we (In the U.K.) are now in GMT.
Don't forget to manually wind back clocks that require doing so.

I've spent the extra hour asleep in bed and didnt even realise it. Car, watches and central heating timer will all need adjusting. Everything else is automatic.

Cheers, Jim. Wouldn't have bothered doing that, until I read your post. No, really. I wouldn't have. But I did.

Hang on. Why doesn’t this happen automatically? It’s 2015, not 1985, and this isn‘t a VCR.

Because the board doesn't know where you are and not all countries in each time zone share the same DST rules

Hang on. I just went in to the preferences to change DST and it was already set at No. Does this mean I've been at GMT for the past six months or has it been changed by person/software?
