Eisenberg & Irons are playing...

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/66013

That's one young villain to go along with young Supes, but I'm wondering if they'll get the dynamic right overall; Bats will be quite a bit older, Wonder Woman's young...

Irons I understand. A bit odd but I reckon it could work. But Jesse? I'd rather it was the guy from Smallville.

The rise of the villain? (Potential major SPOILERS)

http://tinyurl.com/oscsbne

That sounds like both something Snyder would attempt and laughable. An attempt at being hip while totally ignoring Bat's trust issues by the sound of it.

Zach Snyder: The Dark Knight Returns Will Influence The History of Batman vs. Superman

Quote:

I thought Affleck had brought in his own writer, essentially, so I'm assuming Goyer will still have quite a bit of influence (everybody's an 'executive producer' these days I mean). Him and Snyder ballsed it up last time

Supes definitely needs a new suit, and Affleck will be laughed out of town if they don't get his right onscreen. Wonder Woman's a tough call no matter what you do, really.

Three More Actors Join The Next MAN OF STEEL Movie - One Of Them Is An Oscar Winner!!

http://schmoesknow.com/batman-vs-superm ... t-members/

Why hire actors like that for new characters? Well, unless Snyder's as dumb as Bay... I imagine there's a bit of sneakiness going on here :)

They hire characters like that to fit the script and fit the story.
As we have not seen either of these things, we just have to assume they know what they are doing. (8+)
Wait and see, wait and see.

Lol, I remember the crap 'Daily Planet' and laughable Kevin Coster scenes from last time. Zack Snyder? Zak Dingle would be a better choice  ;)

At least I've heard of Zack Snyder. (8+\
Idly wondering ... if this Supes/Batman film does the business, will Mr. Affleck get his own Batman film/series of films?
I suspect there'd be no reason not to if that was the case.

Emmerdale character on the left.

Yeah, I'd imagine they'd want Affleck to direct too if it works. And I really want it to, but my Coke, Snyder and a Superman who was even duller than Routh's! :(

Goyer Reveals WB Doesn’t Have A DC Gameplan

http://latino-review.com/2014/04/goyer- ... -gameplan/

After MoS 'underperformed' by many standards, you can hardly blame them. Though it'd be an idea to start on contingency plans post-sequel now.

Erm, I'm not so sure why he would know what the studio heads would be wanting or planning.
So he's had a hand in some successful films, that doesn't make him automatically a member of the inner circle of studio executives that know all about future road maps.
Without a proper body of popular, well known characters DC is probably doing the right thing in concentrating on individual films, but that doesn't mean there's no plan beyond the next film.

At this point DC is in the position of 'damned if it does and damned if it doesn't'.
People will either complain of copying an already successful model laid out by Marvel, or they'll complain that it didn't try hard enough to make more of the DC catalogue of characters, or they'll complain about something else entirely.
Right now I guess DC just would like to get on with doing what it's doing without minimum interference.
