Before the CustomPC site was split off from the others, most of the forums were shared with PC Pro, with the exception of the CustomPC Folding Team forum, then they redesigned the forums and suddenly only the meeting place, linux and gaming were shared. Was really annoying to lose access to the "Comments" forum. The new CustomPC website was flakey, the forum didn't work properly most of the time and it annoyed the hell out of me, so I started going through the PC Pro side instead. When the Dennis forums re-appear, I'm hoping that everyone stays here. The lack of irritating adverts, the speed and the atmosphere in here makes this place so much better.

Your emails have been received and read, and you should be receiving replies shortly.
As the commenter above notes, we've been reading the discussions that have taken place on these and our own forums (before they took a little nap) and have already responded to many of the comments (not only myself, but Alex Watson from Custom PC and others).
I'll try and keep answering as many questions as I can, and feel free to PM me if there's anything you want answered specifically.
We'll be posting news stories in the In The News forum, at least until our own forums resurface, to help keep people in the loop (thanks Saspro and TimArk_UK for allowing us to do so).

I'm certainly not going back to Dennis. Why would we? Peter.

Some of my friends are still going to be there, having turned down the offer of moving here.

I'll be going back to the MacUser boards. I'm not certain what I'll be going back to at the moment, but we were told that it was simply going to be a new, more secure signing in system. If that's all that's likely changed - setting aside the now walled garden approach to the forums - then I guess there's no real reason for me to stay away. I'll still be here as well, so Edd can still get his fun by (trying, in vain) winding me up. Mark

I've just gone on the MacUser website and my level is "TBD", which I guess is "To be documented".
Peter.

To be determined. I got that a day or so before the announcement of the closure was going to happen was posted. Now I don't get any mention of levels on the MacUser homepage.

Peter, the Dennis forums don't go back up at least until sometime tomorrow.

Sorry, Heather, I was trying to show Mark my "TBD" level. Peter.

I've just got a copy-and-paste reply from Barry Cronin. He still doesn't seem to understand the problem.
Peter.
